De Pont
In 2024 I performed a solo performance in “de Pont” art museum during a performative evening program in collaboration with PUNCH and QULT.
I presented a new work inspired by Stan Douglas. This singular performance was a political piece that showed the struggle of many with an entity we call “the big boss”. We all try to fight it but without collaborating we can’t win.
Materials: glass box, felted fabric, 4 characters, performance.
BUT Film Festival
One of the reappearing venues I got the opportunity to present my performance art work is at BUT film festival.
Since 2015 I performed at their events. It’s inspired by horror, fantasy, shape shifting storytelling. I collaborated with sound artist to make my performances a immersive experience.
Kunstkameraden
I got asked to mentor a “art buddy” for young individuals coming out of a troubled environment like living in a foster home or being a refugee.
The most rewarding thing is to give space for someone’s interests and create a creative workspace to develop a art piece.
Mentorship is to give the young tools to create a artpiece and express their interests, troubles or desires in a creative way. Each project we end with a collective exhibition with other “art buddy’s” and mentors.
Bingo Awards
For the Drag Brunch Bingo I made 2 awards. One is a framed intersex genital the other one is a ball with nipples.
The Bingo winners were rewarded with one of these awards.

Kaapstad
During the first edition of Kaapstad I swept the streets of Tilburg.
It’s a small gesture that makes the passing audience wonder. Some just past, some observe, some ask, some pause, some displease and some compliment.
Best encounter was with a janitor. We discus the unnoticed actions some take for granted.
Sculptures
For 3 years I was teaching amateur stone sculpture enthusiasts to sculpt sculptures out of different kind of stones.
In my own practice I love different kind of materials. I prefer ceramics, textile and reclaimed items.

C-section the musical
I graduated in 2018 as “autonomous visual artist” at AKV Sint Joost.
During our graduation show we presented a musical. I claimed the toilets as my art gallery and displayed my ceramic penises, self portraits and video work .
My toiletlady persona swept the floors. Asked personal question to the audience, helped with “cleaning” the art gallery of the others.
The musical was a collaborated piece of art where I took the logistics and practical duties on my to make it happen with the curators.
Movie Awards
I was asked to make movie awards for “Cross Border Film Awards” for CineSud.

Project 24×24, C-ermis
During Project 24×24, 24 artist occupied 24 hours of interventions in Tilburg
This event was during Covid-19 so people could enjoy art in a safe way.
My intervention was a game from a “fair”. You had to fish for balls in a fountain and you could win several prices. All related with Covid like, masks, bleach or a visualized Covid germ.
I played with the thoughts of governmental decisions and how they tried to manage the epidemic but also how they tried to play us. Like it’s a game of power with something human eyes can’t see.
It’s also about getting lucky or unlucky in the “game” called life.
